Welcome to the School of Engineering and Technology (SoET) at the Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MJNUAT). The school oversees all matters related to administration, teaching, research, consultancies, and outreach. In collaboration with Directors and Heads of Departments, the School, in addition, is involved in the development and renewal of all teaching curricula. Therefore, it is this School where the university mission of creating job creators and self-employable graduates focusses on. Currently, the School of Engineering and Technology oversees all academic matters in the field of Engineering, Technology, and Innovation. Equally, the School is coordinating the development of more than seven (7) bachelor and diploma program curricula.
To adequately guide our activities, the School of Engineering and Technology has put in place guidelines including school strategic plan, staff-industrial placement, and student industrial attachment and internships. These critical documents are important to ensure smooth running of the program and contribute to the realization of the university’s vision and mission.
