Welcome to the Communication and Marketing Unit. This webpage offers information about the Communication and Marketing Unit and the roles it plays at the Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology. The Unit is led by the Head of the Communication and Marketing Unit who reports to the Vice Chancellor.

The Communication and Marketing Unit is responsible for building and maintaining the corporate brand of the university to the public. The unit coordinates the public relations with the internal and external stakeholders. To meet this, the unit manages the university’s website and social media accounts, coordinates media relations and engagement, organizes events, and participates in exhibitions.

In addition, the Communication and Marketing Unit performs the marketing activities of the university. The unit presents to the public the programmes, products, and services. The Communication and Marketing Unit produces promotional materials such as brochures, fliers, and banners for marketing targets.

Currently, the Communication and Marketing Unit has one staff – Public Relations Officer – who is serving as the Coordinator for the Unit. For more information, you can contact us through the information below:
