I am pleased to welcome you to Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MJNUAT), in Butiama, and with satellite centers elsewhere in Mara region. MJNUAT has a Campus in Tabora region. The university strives to be at the center stage of agricultural transformation in Tanzania, and a regional and global player in innovative and societal-responsive Agricultural Education and Training (AET). It aims at achieving this by embracing the concepts of Fourth Generation University. MJNUAT has positioned itself as the “Entrepreneurial University”. Furthermore, the university is involved proactively in inculcating passion for agriculture, entrepreneurial mindset, behavior, and practices to its students, and staff. MJNUAT is a skills-based University that will produce graduate entrepreneurs and is set to empower youth, women, and other needy groups through short-term training in business.
