The Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MJNUAT) aims to equip students with jobs creation skills. To realize this, MJNUAT students frequently engage in various practical sessions throughout their studies. During the second semester of the academic year 2023/24, BSc. Aquaculture students conducted comprehensive practical sessions in different places across the Mara Region for various courses, including Invertebrate Biology, Limnology and Introduction to Animal Nutrition. During these practical sessions, students met with different experts who equipped them with important hands-on skills relevant for self-employability and jobs creation, thus potentially lowering unemployment rate, enhancing economic growth and reducing poverty across the country.
