Yesterday, on May 14, 2024, the Regional Administrative Secretary of Mara, Mr. Gerald Kusaya, made his first visit to Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MJNUAT) in Butiama.

During his visit, Mr. Kusaya inspected construction projects that are being implemented by the university at the Butiama Main Campus and Oswald Mang’ombe Campus.

Mr. Kusaya stated that he visited MJNUAT to assess the projects being implemented and expressed his satisfaction with the construction progress.

Considering that the university has areas in various districts, Mr. Kusaya directed the university management to ensure that these areas are strictly protected.

“These MJNUAT plots that we have are good; we need to protect them. Using our experts, we can design something like tall pillars with colors, which can clearly indicate the boundaries of MJNUAT areas,” emphasized Mr. Kusaya.

The Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology is implementing the construction of the Butiama Main Campus under the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) project, as well as the Renovation and Construction Project at the Oswald Mang’ombe Campus funded by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania.
