The objective of the training was to impart knowledge and skills to the staff in two areas namely; (1) Journal Publication skills (2) Introduction to Consultancy Services Skills; these areas are geared towards building capacity to the participants in terms of their knowledge and skills to enhance their academic and life career.

Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere University of Agriculture and Technology (MJNUAT) is one among the 14 institutions that are the beneficiaries of the Higher Education for Economic Transformation Project (HEET) that is funded by the World Bank (WB). The aims of the HEET Project are to strengthen the learning environment, ensure greater alignment of priority degree programmes to labour market needs and improve the management of the higher education system.
